Risks and limits
Read the limits before treating a pool, a currency code, or a burn as evidence that an asset is safe.
Price and exit liquidity
Tokens and fx currencies can lose most or all of their market value. The displayed price comes from a pool; it does not show how much you would receive from selling a large amount. Both legs of an fx route can contribute price impact.
An opening FX rate is a starting condition only. FiatEx does not hold fiat reserves for fx currencies or offer redemption. USDC itself has issuer, transfer-policy, and market risks.
The 3,000-USDC milestone uses spot reserve valuation. It can be affected by manipulation and does not prove that the pool raised or can pay out 3,000 USDC.
Contracts, routers, and execution
Locked liquidity removes the intended withdrawal path from these contracts. It does not eliminate implementation defects or risks in PoolManager, token transfers, oracle verification, wallets, or the Arc network.
Transactions can revert, and reverted transactions can still cost gas. Public orders and predictable buybacks are exposed to MEV. Slippage and time-weighted limits bound some outcomes; they do not guarantee fair execution.
The project has local Solidity and backend tests. It has not completed an independent security audit or full live Arc wallet and router verification. Do not read a passing test count as an audit certificate.
Names are not verification
Creators choose their own token names and images. A listing is not an endorsement or proof of a business, team, or affiliation. Currency tickers can repeat across different contracts.
Check addresses and immutable creator tax before buying. FiatEx does not currently promise a Launch Shield, anti-bot protection, guaranteed Uniswap app listing, returns, or a recovery mechanism for lost funds.
Website and data dependencies
The frontend, indexer, RPC, oracle provider, IPFS gateway, and optional keeper are separate services. A failure can delay data or make a feature unavailable without changing onchain rules. Indexed balances and trade history can lag the latest block.
Anyone with a compatible client can call deployed public contracts, but independent access still depends on the network and its dependencies. FiatEx’s web infrastructure is operated infrastructure, not a claim that every part of the system is beyond control.
